Principal photography of the Marlowe movie starring Liam Neeson started in November 2021. Interior scenes were shot in Dublin, Ireland. Barcelona and the surrounding area were used for exterior scenes making it look like Los Angeles. Different Barcelona locations such as Sitges, Alella, Blanes, Manresa and Terrassa were used.
