Built in 1932 The Lakeview Restaurant, at the corner of Dundas Street West and Ossington Avenue, has been a landmark in the city of Toronto for eight decades. The Lakeview is most widely known for the backdrop of many big Hollywood productions. Tom Cruise in Cocktail and John Travolta in hairspray are some of the notable actors that have filmed within the walls of this local diner.
