Niagara Falls is the collective name for three waterfalls that straddle the international border between the Canada and the United States. From largest to smallest, the three waterfalls are the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls and the Bridal Veil Falls. The Horseshoe Falls drop about 57 metres (187 ft). The peak flow over Horseshoe Falls was recorded at 6,400 cubic metres (230,000 cu ft) per second.
