Hummingbird Nest is considered one of the top film locations in Southern California. Film friendly and located in the TMZ just to the west of Chatsworth, the 130 acre property is 40 minutes away from studios in Burbank, Santa Clarita and West LA. It has many varied looks from rural to luxurious consisting of a Spanish Colonial Villa. As soon as production designer Rachel O’Toole saw photos of Hummingbird Nest Ranch, a sprawling 123-acre equestrian estate in Simi Valley once owned by Texas billionaire David Saperstein (he sold the property in 2016 for $33 million), she knew she had found Garcia's home in the film. The estate features a 17,000,000-square-foot Spanish Colonial mansion, but O’Toole and first-time director Bill Holderman opted to use one of the property’s 16 guesthouses for Garcia’s house.

SYNOPSIS
Nigel lives alone, going about his daily life, with little thought for much beyond his garden fence. Until one day, Ellie arrives on his doorstep, offering a monthly book club subscription. Every time Ellie returns, Nigel attempts to impress her with a new outfit or act. Of course, this does not entirely go to plan.
