The Johns Hopkins University is an American private research university in Baltimore, Maryland. Founded in 1876, the university was named for its first benefactor, Johns Hopkins. Filming could not take place at Harvard because the University has turned down most requests for on-location filming ever since the filming of Love Story (1970), which caused significant physical damage to the campus.

SYNOPSIS
