Rincon Park has nice groomed patches of grass along its promenade and there is a large sculpture of a Bow and Arrow known as "Cupid's Span"; in addition, the view of the Bay Bridge is unforgettable! Cupid's Span is an outdoor sculpture by married artists Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen made of fiberglass and steel. The piece resembles Cupid's bow and arrow, drawn, with the arrow and bow partially implanted in the ground; the artists stated that the piece was inspired by San Francisco's reputation as the home port of Eros, hence the stereotypical bow and arrow of Cupid.
