Shears Bridge Highway, also known as Oregon Route 216, is a Oregon state highway. OR 216 is 61.30 miles (98.65 km) long and runs east–west. At a distance you can see Mount Hood, called Wy'east by the Multnomah tribe. It is a potentially active stratovolcano. The height assigned to Mount Hood's snow-covered peak has varied over its history. But the volcano is the highest point in Oregon.
