The movie was filmed in the original studio where they filmed the Rogers-show. Mister Rogers' Neighborhood was an American half-hour educational children's television series that was created and hosted by Fred Rogers. The series was aimed primarily at preschool ages 2 to 5, but it was labelled by PBS as "appropriate for all ages”. Established on April 1, 1954, WQED was the first community-sponsored television station in the U.S. The station has been the flagship for Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
