Thayer Estate, the 21,802-square-foot three-story house in Lancaster, Massachusetts, has 47 bedrooms, 24 full baths, and four half baths. Famed architect Guy Lowell designed the residence in 1903, and stunning turn-of-the-century details can be found throughout. It was once an alternative health center run by Deepak Chopra that Michael Jackson, Elizabeth Taylor, and Barbra Streisand visited over the years. Its first owner was horticulturalist Bayard Thayer; it was then owned by the Greek Orthodox and Catholic churches and later became a school for the blind.
