Lancaster House is a mansion in the St James's district in the West End of London. It is close to St. James's Palace and much of the site was once part of the palace complex. This lavishly decorated townhouse is just a stone's throw away from Buckingham Palace on Pall Mall. Although conferences are held here, the breathtaking Louis XIV interior is rarely open to the general public. The entrance of the sitting room was filmed at Lancaster house, the room itself is shot at the music room in Wrotham Park.
