This is the only surviving building from the palace of Emperor Alexander I located here at the beginning of the 19th century. Kolomenskoye was a place where the future emperor often visited in childhood together with his grandmother Catherine II. In 2005-2006, the Moscow State United Museum-Reserve carried out a full-scale restoration of the pavilion, which returned it to its original appearance.
