The Queen and Lady Bridgerton having tea at the palace.
(Episode 1.2)
Lancaster House is a mansion in the St James's district in the West End of London. It is close to St. James's Palace and much of the site was once part of the palace complex. Throughout the 19th century, few leading musicians came to London without appearing at one of the Sutherlands’ evening parties. Frederic Chopin played here for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1848. The house records also show that he gave lessons to the young Lady Constance.
