The café is part of the Lynn Canyon Park, a municipal park in the District of North Vancouver. The park is also the place where you can walk across the Suspension Bridge, which can be seen briefly in Virgin River. The park officially opened in 1912. At that time it was only 12 acres (4.9 ha) in size, but it now encompasses 617 acres (250 ha).
