The Huntington Japanese Garden is part of The Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. It is an educational and research institution established by Henry E. Huntington (1850–1927) and Arabella Huntington (c.1851–1924). The property also includes approximately 120 acres (49 ha) of specialized botanical landscaped gardens, including the Japanese Garden. This garden was completed in 1912 and opened to the public in 1928.
