Museum of History of Panama, also known as Museo de Historia de Panamá, is a history museum located on the ground floor of the Municipal Palace of Panama City. was inaugurated on December 14, 1977 by the anthropologist Reina Torres de Araúz. Among its collections there are maps, plans, religious objects, including the Declaration of Independence of Panama from Spain. It was designed by Genaro Ruggieri.
