Coatesville is a city approximately 39 miles west of Philadelphia. There are 13,000 people living there according to a 2010 census. Coatesville developed thanks to Lukens Steel Company. The restructuring of the industry led to less job. Since the turn of the century, Coatesville has invested in redevelopment, encouraging private projects.
