The Dallas County Administration Building, formerly known as the Texas School Book Depository, is a seven-floor building at Dealey Plaza in Dallas, Texas. The building was the place Lee Harvey Oswald used during the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. On President's Day 1989, the sixth floor opened to the public as the Sixth Floor Museum of assassination-related exhibits. 23 years later a gallery opened on the seventh-floor. Originally this was a storage area. Filming took place on the seventh floor of the Dallas County Administration Building.
