The name Quiraing comes from Old Norse Kví Rand, which means 'Round Fold’. This landslip, which is 543 meters high, lies on the eastern face of Meall na Suiramach, the northernmost summit of the Trotternish. The Quiraing is one of the most popular attractions on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The complete Quiraing hike is approximately 4,5 miles (7 kilometers) long. It takes about 2,5 hours to walk it.
