The Rivoli Ballroom is the only intact 1950s ballroom remaining in London, England. It opened in July 1913. Originally it was called the Crofton Park Picture Palace. It was designed by Henley Attwater. It became The Rivola Cinema in 1929 but was converted tot a dance hall by local businessman Leonard Tomlin. It reopened as The Rivoli in 1959. Elton John used the place for his 1983 video for the song "I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues". Tina Turner's "Private Dancer" video was also shot there.
