Saunton Sands is a beach near the English village of Saunton. It is on the North Devon coast near Braunton. It is very popular for longboard surfing. The beach has no life guards and is known to have dangerous riptides. The beach was used by Pink Floyd for the cover art of the album A Momentary Lapse of Reason for which 700 wrought iron hospital beds were used. It was also used for the video for the Robbie Williams song Angels.
