The Hotel Alexandria is a historic building constructed as a luxury hotel at the beginning of the 20th century. It was designed by architect John B. Parkinson. it opened on February 12, 1906 as an 8-story luxury hotel. Another part was added 5 years later. The hotel was sold several and closed and reopened several times. In 2005, the area around the hotel was gradually transformed. The building today contains a mix of market rate and subsidized housing. In David Fincher's movie Seven, it served as the residence of the killer, John Doe. The Alexandria Hotel offers three iconic event venues, one of which is the upstairs ballroom used for filming The Morning Show. The ballrooms were restored after decades. They are used for parties, weddings, events and filming. For the scene the ballroom was heavily dressed. The location was recognized by Reddit user @esotouric_tours
