Naval Air Station Fallon is the United States Navy's premier air-to-air and air-to-ground training facility. It is located southeast of the city of Fallon in western Nevada. Since 1996, it has been home to the Naval Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN) taking over from the former NAS Miramar, California. The B-20 target range is located in the northeastern section of the Carson Sink and lies within the Lone Rock area. Lone Rock is a rock formation approximately 140 feet tall, in the center of this target area.
