Porter's Neck Plantation is a private country club community in North Carolina. In 1989 it was established in the spirit of old-fashioned neighbourhoods and southern-style hospitality. In the decades that followed, other communities sprang up around the Plantation, creating one of Wilmington's most desirable residential areas. Porter's Neck is tucked away just off Market Street (Highway 17) between Wilmington and Hampstead.
