The Gravel Walk is a passage behind the Royal Crescent and the Circus. In Austen's time it was know as a 'Lover’s Lane'. The path was a route for sedan chairs heading to and from the town centre and following the path will take you almost into Victoria Park behind The Circus and The Royal Crescent, with fine views of the backs of houses and their gardens on Gay Street.

SYNOPSIS
