Madison Square Park is a 6.2-acre (2.5-hectare) public park. It is close to the famous Flatiron Building. David Farragut was a flag officer of the United States Navy during the American Civil War. ‘He is remembered for his order at the Battle of Mobile Bay, usually paraphrased as "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" in U.S. Navy tradition’, according to Wikipedia.
