The Kulturpalast Dresden is a modernist building opened in 1969, during the time of the German Democratic Republic. It was used for concerts, dances, conferences and other events. After a 5-year renovation, the building reopened in April 2017. Finding this location was a big challenge for the production team because they had to find a concert hall where they could film for nine days.
