Want to know where No Time to Die starring Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux and Rami Malek was filmed at Kalsoy island in Trøllanes, Faroe Islands? Start scrolling.
The iconic ending of the movie when James Bond destroys Safin's poison factory.
Daniel Craig was never on Kalsoy island. If he, or other actors, should partake in the filming on Kalsoy island, it would require a staff of 100 extra people. As there is no hotel on the island and only one ferry sailing to Kalsoy island, the filming crew decided to scan the northern part of the island instead. The actors are then put into the digitally reimagined scenery on Kalsoy island. Bond stands on Kalsoy island with Eysturoy island and Streymoy island as a backdrop. Local villagers have taken it upon themselves to erect a tombstone on this location for the iconic spy, made from Faroese basalt. Kalsoy Island is one of the best day trips on the Faroe Islands.
