Doyden Castle, built around 1830, is a small, castellated folly on Doyden Point in Port Quin, Cornwall. It was created by Samuel Symons, a wealthy hedonist, as a secluded venue for his decadent parties and gambling gatherings. The castle, with its medieval-style architecture, features two floors and a basement, originally used for storage of alcohol. Now owned by the National Trust, it serves as a unique one-bedroom holiday home with arched gothic windows and original wine bins. The castle offers stunning sea views and is surrounded by scenic walking paths.

The profound story of husband and wife Raynor and Moth Winn, who embark on a 630-mile trek after being forcibly removed from their home. Hoping that in nature they will find solace and a sense of acceptance, they walk through the beautiful but rugged coastlines of South West England - a journey that is exhilarating, challenging, and liberating in equal measure. THE SALT PATH is a powerful portrayal of home, and how it can be lost and rediscovered in the most unexpected ways.
