The Pont de Bir-Hakeim, formerly known as the Pont de Passy, is a two-level arch bridge in Paris that connects the 15th and 16th arrondissements, passing through the Île aux Cygnes. Built between 1903 and 1905, it features a lower level for vehicles and pedestrians, and an upper level viaduct for Metro Line 6. The bridge was renamed in 1948 to commemorate the Free French Forces' victory in the Battle of Bir Hakeim during World War II. It is known for its Art Nouveau design, cast-iron statues, and stunning views of the Eiffel Tower.
