The Palais Brongniart is a historic neoclassical building in Paris's 2nd arrondissement, originally constructed between 1808-1826 under Napoleon's direction to house the Paris stock exchange. Designed by architect Alexandre-Théodore Brongniart, it served as the city's financial center for nearly 150 years until the trading floor closed in 1987. Today, the Palais Brongniart functions as a prominent events and congress center, symbolizing Paris's rich financial heritage. During the 2024 Summer Olympics, it even served as the Team USA House.
