Berre arrives at the famous Flagey building in Brussels.
Maison de la Radio Flagey, also known as the Flagey Building, is an iconic Art Deco and Streamline Moderne former radio house on Place Flagey in Ixelles, Brussels, built between 1935 and 1938 by architect Joseph Diongre as one of Europe’s first purpose-built broadcasting centers. Nicknamed “the ocean liner” for its ship-like form, it originally housed the Belgian National Institute of Radio Broadcasting before radio and television activities moved out in the 1970s. Saved from decay and extensively renovated in the late 1990s, it reopened in 2002 as Flagey, a vibrant cultural center with renowned concert and recording studios.
