Mentmore Towers is a grand 19th-century English country house in Buckinghamshire, built between 1852 and 1854 for Baron Mayer de Rothschild. Designed by Sir Joseph Paxton in Jacobethan style, it featured lavish interiors to house his art collection, rivaling royal palaces. Sold in 1977 after the contents were auctioned, it later became a filming location and Maharishi Foundation seat.
